We have been collecting autographs for over 30 years in person and have an extensive personal collection.

Stars and Icons have been dealing in autographs for several years and have an expertise in contemporary sport, film and music autographs.  We have been an AFTAL Approved Dealer since August 2008.

Authenticity

Every autograph purchased from Stars and Icons is guaranteed on grounds of authenticity for life and will come with a certificate of authenticity featuring a photograph of the autographed item and a an AFTAL/Collectors Proof hologram.

Where do we get our stock?

We collect our stock ourselves, through our selected trusted contacts in the UK who only collect autographs for us, from other AFTAL Approved Dealers and through organised autograph signings.

Affiliations

AFTAL (Autograph Fair Trade Association Ltd.)

The “Autograph Fair Trade Association” ( AFTAL ) was formed by a group of acknowledged autograph dealers, with the intention of stamping out the market in fake items and ensuring that the customer is able to find dealers that they can trust.

Inclusion in AFTAL is proof of each dealer’s commitment and professional competence. The Code of Conduct commits each AFTAL approved dealer to providing authentic items, with all the required knowledge, qualification and diligence that that may demand, and is the best possible proof any collector could have when looking to buy authentic signed memorabilia.

Simply put, there is no reason as to why any honest dealer should not become an AFTAL approved dealer, but many reasons why some could never become an AFTAL approved dealer.
