Sticky XS Freezer Bait
It's not very often that you read the name Ian Brusch in print. The publicity shy yorkshireman was responsible for the production of Eric's GLM & Crab.This may not be a bait that many of you have heard of, but those in the know, will be aware of it's track record when it comes to catching big fish. The Mother, The Lady, The Creature, the list goes on. Anyway to cut a long story short, we persuaded Ian to bring this one with him, he agreed, as long as we didn't cut any corners with the levels of GLM and added the all important Spirulina.
Spirulina is a blue green algae, similar to those found in a carp's natural environment. It is extremely rich in the antioxidant beta carotene, which boosts the carps immune system, making it less succeptable to disease. Containing 20 out of the 22 amino acids, spirulina is an excellent attrator in it's own right. Anyone using the bait on a water rich in naturals, will notice the freshwater shrimp and snails attached to the hookbait when reeling in. The dark green, almost black colour of the bait, helps to minimise the unwanted attention of our feathered friends. We haven't used any bulk food oils in this one, allowing maximum leakage of the attractor package and ensuring it's effectiveness all year round.
