Another Solar first, Up and Down is a Fizzing Groundbait Mix that gives your presentation a kick up the water column - it's the closest you can get to fishing on the top, mid-water and on the bottom all at the same time. Add water and it floats and fizzes, add the Big Shot liquid and it sinks and fizzes.
The hydro-active Bedrock compound in these two stage groundbaits produces PVA bag and stick fillings with an extra dimension, steadily bubbling away and kicking food particles actively into the water around a rig to draw carp to the hook bait no matter what level they are swimming at.
Up and Down lets you feed every inch of water between your rig and the surface. Never before has carp bait been so active in drawing fish to you.
When damped down with the Big Shot liquid enclosed in each bag you activate the Bedrock compound and create groundbait that can be compressed into a PVA stick or loaded into a PVA bag and will bubble and fizz for 1-2 hours in your swim. Particles of bait become buoyant through the bubbling of the Bedrock compound, floating upwards over the hook bait, then falling again before the process is repeated.
Once the surrounding PVA has dissolved Up and Down instantly begins to fire tiny food items into your swim, where they are moved around on the undercurrent or with wind action to generate feeding interest in carp that may not even be in your swim.
Alternatively mix with water for a groundbait that floats indefinitely, fizzes and discharges food particles downwards. Floating Method feeders, balls of floating groundbait at range for difficult surface feeding carp, food particles falling around a zig rig at half depth, for sharper carpers, match anglers and pleasure anglers alike the possibilities are endless.
First trip out with the magic fizz in freezing February conditions and we knew we were on to something special. Up and Down produced carp when there was little or no action to other baits.
Observation in one clear pit saw sluggish fish stopping in their tracks when seeing the trail of food particles suspended through the water and hearing the bubbling of Up and Down, before flashing excitedly around the groundbait. Since then success has followed this unique fizzy groundbait everywhere it has been.
Bedrock compound requires complex working conditions, carefully investigated during a lengthy testing period. Up and Down and the dedicated Big Shot liquid will only produce bubbling bait when used together.
